Good afternoon, dear ones will draw … reviewers. As always, in our almost talk show the main characters
of some TELTALE-OVS SAGE and, as usual, there are two of them. Meet Sam and Max! (Here is assumed cheerful applause.)
Of course, we are well acquainted with the achievements of the freelance police, so it is not necessary to represent today’s guests. For those who have not yet joined, we remind you: these guys come from an adventure series called, imagine, SAM & Max! Yes, that is how. For the third season, they run, shoot, solve simple detective tasks and, of course, joke with you and.
Today we will talk about the third episode of the last season – They Stole Max’s Brain.
From the life of a superstore
Presenter: Guys, tell us about this theft. It sounds extremely intriguing. What happened to you?
Sam: Well, you see, I somehow come after those adventures in the second episode, where we got so cool with our ancestors. And I see that Max has a head cut. Anyone regularly happens to Max in general, but for the lid from the head to fall off – this was not the case. I looked, it turned out, the brain was stolen.
Max: Because I have the most remarkable brain in the world and superpsychic forces!
Sam: Yeah. Buddy, you have repeated this eight in Advenchur, maybe enough? So. I faded from such impudence and went to interrogate the suspects according to my super -professional method. I found out that Max’s brain lies in a jar of the two most ugly villains from previous episodes: the white gorillage of the scapula from the first part of the third season and that crazy necromancer-cultist from the second. They joined our efforts, and we, of course, are going to prevent them from preventing them from.
Host: Oh, how interesting! So, the plot will develop extremely dynamically? Shooting, chase?
SAM: About dynamic – you noticed it very correctly. There will be shooting. Once I will have to shoot into a balloon in the form of a rocket. With chases did not work out. But we will find what to do: first I wear throughout the city and interrogate the witnesses, then immediately go to the museum, where a real pharaoh will have to instill in the body of Max. And then another era will begin in the history of the Earth, but this is already a spoiler, sorry. In general, you won’t get bored.
Modern interrogation methods
Presenter: Thank you for sharing my plans, Sam. Now tell me how you will do all this.
Max: With the help of my mental strength, of course. While my brain is in a jar, it can be controlled separately from the carcass. True, I can little without my little attractive body, but you will still be pleased to talk to me once again, though?
Sam: Max’s mental forces here generally play a tenth role.
Sam: The main thing is my professionalism. For example, I very coolly interrogate the suspects with the help of physical and psychological pressure. By the way, in previous episodes, I have not yet demonstrated my capabilities in full. Now I can interrupt witnesses during their chatter exclamations like “you are lying!”,” Come on!”, Threaten a gun. All this I like to accompany the impacts in the face.
Max: It looks great when it is angry. The forehead is frowning, all is skewed and growls like a courtyard dog.
Sam: Well, yes. Depending on when I stop the verbal diarrhea of the suspect, I receive various new information.
Max: Come on, forget about Sam, he is a loser. Only my mental forces are able to get us out of this trouble. I will have a set of power toys from the first episode: teleportation, copying the subject and foresight. It is terrible that all this will have to use some miserable Egyptian pharaoh. By the way, Pharaoh, like me, loves to repeat the same joke five times. Five times. Five times. I already said that five.
Night in Museum-2
Presenter: Okay, Max, we all understood. How about tasks? They remained as simple as before?
Sam: Not really. More elegant tasks-many-ways appeared. I liked the idea of turning Max, that is, the pharaoh, into a layout of the city. The stupid brown gorilla – a servant of a smart white gorilla – just begins to fade from a pink pistol around everything around. It is worth his Egyptian majesty in the role of a layout to slightly tease our Prime friend, as a mini-city is under fire. Then make the giant cockroach poke the monkey with your fingers in the eyes – it is already a matter of technology. My technique, notice.
Presenter: We know that you are a cool detective, Sam.
Sam: Exactly. In general, when the cockroach and gorilla will adapt to the fight, we will finally manage to quarrel a crazy magician with a cosmic criminal. And everything will start with the layout. You feel what I’m getting at?
Presenter: uh. Honestly, not really.
Sam: The tasks became more interesting, although it is not much more complicated, and there are always tips. Seriously. In this case, with a cockroach, for example, the insect itself makes it clear what else needs to be done to achieve the goal.
Presenter: Okay, they figured out the puzzles. Let’s talk a little about jokes.
Max: I like to repeat the same joke on ..
Sam: (clamps the mouth of Max) You already understood everything, yes? Humor is not our strongest side in the third episode. My friend was slightly relocated on the topic of the brains. But it can be understood: in the end, what else he could think about, lying in a jar of saline?
Presenter: How about the objects unnecessary in the plot?
Sam: Oh, everything is in order with them. Around us is full of all interesting garbage that is not related to the matter. The same museum exhibits, for example. There is something to inspect and what to twitch.
Presenter: Tip? Is it true?
Sam: This is not what you think! I’m talking about levers. Click on them-you will see how the skeleton of the dinosaur is moving or sparkles with the eyes of the yogg vehicle, or the Egyptian driver drives slaves. Useless, but fun.
Presenter: Okay, guys, thank you for talking about the third episode. Your plans for the future?
Sam: You have been asking this banal question for the thirteenth time.
Presenter: not banal, but classic.
Sam: Okay. We plan to continue to shock everyone with our cheerful physiognomies at least two more episodes.
Well, They Stole Max’s Brain – quite a worthy continuation of the saga about Sam and his friend Max. Telltale Constantly brings something new and unexpected to the gameplay, which is very difficult, given what baggage of our heroes are already behind our heroes. It is a pity that it did not work out with humor: after all, funny jokes are one of the main raisins of the series. But the game process itself has become more active and more diverse.
Pros: interesting multi -way tasks;a new type of dialogue with witnesses;dynamic plot;Charismatic Sam.
Cons: Endless repetitions of jokes.
